Once upon a time in Morocco, two brothers, Zack and Malek, grew up surrounded by the vibrant flavors and aromas of traditional Moroccan cuisine. As they grew older, Zack pursued his passion for cooking and honed his skills in culinary and hospitality schools. He traveled the world, working in renowned hotels and restaurants in cities like Casablanca, Sedona, and New York City.
Malek, on the other hand, followed a different path, earning his MBA and working in a major American bank. But something was missing. He found himself yearning for the tastes and traditions of his childhood.
One day, while throwing a Moroccan-themed dinner party for friends in New York, Malek realized that this was his true calling. He decided to leave his corporate job and pursue his dream of opening a restaurant that would bring the flavors of Morocco to the world.
He knew he needed his brother's help and called Zack, who was ready to join him in this venture. Together, they created Tajine, a place where the past meets the present, where tradition and innovation come together to create a culinary experience like no other. A place where you can taste the richness of the Mediterranean in Santa Fe's marvelous setting.
